Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical Benefits and culture Full-time position - afternoon shift 2.30 pm -10.15 pm Excellent salary with career progression Inclusive culture Employee Recognition programme Free onsite parking About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Engineer with maintenance and managing trades experience to join an industry leading manufacturer on a full-time permanent role working on an afternoon shift in Campbellfield This role will see you working closely alongside the Senior Maintenance Manager to assist in the management of the plant maintenance by prioritizing work requests, assisting with controlling costs and maximizing the quality of work. . Key accountabilities: Managing the maintenance program that includes preventative maintenance and corrective works. Timely responding to work requests. Providing technical advice on breakdowns to ensure optimum plant operation. Supervising and motivating a group of qualified mechanical trades, including providing and managing their training. Ensure adherence to safety regulations and standards within the production environment. Maintain accurate records of production processes, changes & improvements for compliance and review. Observing current work practices and identifying areas for improvement Periodic reporting About you: Degree in mechanical, chemical or production engineering Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position which includes supervision of trades. Experience within the food / beverage manufacture with exposure to fill and cap or bulk filling with be an advantage. Quality and continuous improvement and root cause analysis focused. Demonstrated high level of attention to detail & strong leadership Ability to Drive Safety in the workplace.
