A rare opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced Registered Nurse to join our BRHS Home Based Nursing Services team in this varied and rewarding senior nursing role. The position: Contract: Ongoing, Part-Time 40.0 hours per fortnight The Residential in-Reach service is designed to prevent unnecessary hospital presentation from Residential Aged Care facilities. This role will triage calls made to the service and take referrals from direct care staff of the Residential Aged Care Facility, the Emergency Department, General Practitioner, and the wards. This role will suit a confident decision maker who demonstrates a strong sense of autonomy and accountability. You will use your excellent communication skills to continually collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure positive relationships exist. What can we offer you? Current AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse and extensive clinical acute nursing experience. Demonstrated advanced physical assessment skills, including proficiency in catheter care, administration of IV fluids and medications, complex wound management, palliative care, accessing and de-accessing CVAD'S, and bedside blood tests.
