Quest Flooring Pty Ltd has over 30 years of experience in the flooring industry. We are a market leader in the manufacture and distribution of superior quality carpets. We are seeking to hire a Sewing Machinist/Labourer to join our team in our Sampling Department. Full time - Day shift Monday to Thursday 7:00 am to 3:06 pm and Friday 6:00 am to 2:06 pm Varied Roll, on any given day you could be expected to: Bind edging on carpet samples Label carpet samples Cut samples to size on cutting machine Computer input Collate and box completed samples for despatch Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace The role requires an individual who is motivated and demonstrates these skills: Sewing experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred but not essential) Previous experience in textile Industry (preferred but not essential) Flexibility to assist in other task within the Sampling Department Computer literate Attention to detail Good communicator Good presentation Excellent organisational and time management skills Ability to seek guidance and direction as necessary in the performance of your duties Able to have a co-operative relationship between management and other staff Willing to work overtime Be physically fit (some lifting may be required) What we provide: On-the-job training Stable and progressive company Competitive wages A lively and fast paced working environment with a great team culture An environment where you're encouraged to develop and share your skills and abilities Don't delay - apply directly to Quest Flooring Pty Ltd!
