Join our dedicated Works and Operations Team as a Construction Labourer!
We're looking for a motivated and reliable individual to support our construction crews in delivering high-quality construction services across the Cessnock area. In this hands-on role, you’ll assist with the construction and upkeep of roads, paved areas, drainage systems, and parks, while also taking on truck driving duties and operating plant equipment as needed. Your experience in civil construction, combined with a strong focus on safety and teamwork, will be key to your success in this role and in contributing to Council’s positive public image.

Remuneration
$61,433 - $71,133 per annum plus superannuation

About You
You are a reliable and experienced labourer with a solid background in civil construction and maintenance works. You have hands-on experience performing labouring duties and operating minor plant and equipment safely and effectively. With a basic understanding of road and drainage construction requirements, you work well as part of a team and bring a positive, can-do attitude to every task. Your strong awareness of Workplace Health and Safety standards ensures you always work with care and responsibility. You possess sound literacy and numeracy skills, along with effective verbal and written communication abilities. You hold a current Class C Driver Licence and White Card, and either already hold, or are willing to obtain an MR licence and traffic control certificates.
