Description We are seeking a Project Manager to join our high-performing team based in Underdale, South Australia. This pivotal role will oversee the operational management of various projects across pavements, stabilisation, and minor civil works, ensuring Zero Harm, cost efficiency, and quality delivery in line with contract specifications. Occasional regional travel is required. As a preferred supplier for DIT SA, operate under the GC21 standards and are looking for people familiar with it. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to tendering for DIT-specific work, with a focus on delivering excellence across South Australia's infrastructure. What you’ll bring Proven experience managing civil infrastructure projects, including resource planning and project scheduling Solid understanding of tender preparation and negotiation processes Strong grasp of Project Management fundamentals Ability to manage, supervise, and schedule activities of Project Engineers, Supervisors, labour workforce, subcontractors, and on-site admin staff Commitment to Zero Harm work practices Excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills Demonstrated ability to lead teams and collaborate effectively Advanced computer proficiency, especially in MS Project and Excel Familiarity with GC21 contracts and working within DIT SA frameworks Downer is a company that believes people are our greatest asset.
