Driver/Operator About the role Seeking a Driver/Operator for an initial 6-month duration, with potential to move to permanent direct with the client. Roster will be Monday to Friday, starting at 5:00am and finishing around 1:00pm (with potential for overtime and weekend work). Skills & Experience Current HC Drivers Licence (essential) Vacuum loading experience and waste industry knowledge (desirable) Good work ethic and self-motivated Commitment to safety Mechanical aptitude Able to work weekends when required Duties & Responsibilities Perform loading and unloading duties of liquid waste across a range of waste streams, which may include hydrocarbons, industrial waste waters and packaged wastes. Manual handling role which includes dragging, pulling hoses, lifting lids with lifting devices, cleaning out traps, scraping, hosing etc. Maintain a professional image of the Company and deliver high quality customer service at all times. Operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with training, instructions or operating procedures and company regulations. Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on vehicle and/or equipment as and when required. Ensure all tools and equipment used in the performance of work is safe to use & stored in a clean & correct manner.
