Job Tasks and Responsibilities We’re looking for an experienced General Manager to oversee operations, drive growth, and ensure excellence in production, sales, and compliance. Oversee end-to-end operations including production, inventory, logistics, and dispatch Manage daily facility operations and ensure smooth workflow across departments Lead, coach, and motivate staff including production, sales, and administration teams Maintain high standards of product quality, hygiene, and food safety (HACCP/FSANZ) Implement and monitor targets and KPIs Collaborate with owners on growth strategies such as new products and markets Manage supplier relationships and control input costs Forecast and manage stock levels according to seasonal demand Ensure workplace safety and regulatory compliance Drive sales through business development, wholesale relationships, and pricing strategies Monitor financial performance including budgets, costs, and profitability Maintain all necessary licenses, certifications, and regulatory compliance About You The ideal candidate will have: Proven leadership or operations experience within the meat, FMCG, or food production sectors Strong knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP, and cold chain logistics Business acumen with budget management and growth identification skills Hands-on leadership ability, capable of operating strategically and practically Excellent people management and communication skills Experience working in a fast-paced, seasonal environment Preferred experience in smallgoods or meat processing J-18808-Ljbffr
