We’re seeking a strategic and passionate Learning and Development Lead to oversee, design and ensure successful delivery of all training initiatives across MiCare. Reporting to the General Manager, People Services, you’ll lead programs that support compliance, onboarding, induction, development and continuous learning, ensuring our staff are equipped to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. This is a key role influencing how we embed MiCare’s values, culture and commitment to excellence in the everyday experiences of our people. What You’ll Do Lead the coordination and delivery of learning and development initiatives across all MiCare sites and locations across Queensland and Victoria, tailored for a variety of aged care and community care programs. Oversee the mandatory training program and ensure compliance with industry standards. Design and manage MiCare’s centralised training calendar, streamline the employee experience and onboarding program. Partner with leaders, and the HR team to identify capability gaps and implement tailored learning solutions. Manage our Learning Management System (AusMed) and produce timely training reports. Collaborate with subject matter experts, RTOs and stakeholders to enhance workforce skills. What You’ll Bring Demonstrated experience and a passion for designing, delivering and evaluating training programs (ideally in aged care and/or community services) Sound knowledge of compliance requirements, including Aged Care Quality Standards and NDIS Experience working with Learning Management Systems (AusMed experience desirable) Excellent facilitation, project management and stakeholder engagement skills A collaborative, culturally sensitive approach and a commitment to inclusive practice Why work for MiCare?
