About the Role Are you an experienced mobilisation officer, or a team leader with a passion for people, processes, and performance? As our Business Support Lead, you’ll provide daily leadership, coaching, and oversight to the Business Support Team whilst being directly involved in managing the coordination of staff travel and mobilisation across the organisation. In this role, you will be at the helm of our business support function, guiding a multidisciplinary team that ensures everything runs smoothly behind the scenes—from mobilisation and rostering to customer service, compliance and administration. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with the Head of Finance and Shared Services, Human Resources, site leaders, and clients to coordinate onboarding and staff travel across all departments. Key responsibilities include: • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, support and develop Business Support Officers across Mobilisation, Compliance and Customer Service. Promote a collaborative, high-performing and service-focused culture. • Mobilisation & Onboarding: Oversee end-to-end mobilisation processes including pre-employment checks, onboarding, training, inductions, and compliance. Act as a key point of contact for new starters and coordinate urgent mobilisation requests. • Travel & Accommodation Coordination: Manage staff travel including flights, airport transfers, site access, accommodation, and emergency travel arrangements. • Rostering & Operations Support: Administer and maintain operational rosters, coordinate short-notice coverage, and support workforce planning and service delivery needs. • Administration & Compliance: Oversee administrative support across reception, training records, uniform and PPE management, document control and ASIC support. • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure support services meet evolving business and contractual requirements. • Process Improvement: Champion a culture of continuous improvement and help streamline systems, documentation, and workflows across all business support functions. About You AMS will provide ongoing training and professional development to support this next step in your career, but you'll already be off to a great start if you have previous experience in the following areas: • Demonstrated experience in mobilisation—ideally in aviation, construction or service delivery environments. • Proven leadership experience with a collaborative, supportive and solutions-oriented style. • Strong understanding of mobilisation processes, onboarding, training coordination, rostering and travel arrangements. • High attention to detail, excellent time management and strong communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise business systems. • A can-do attitude and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
