Mental Health Support Coordinator – Narrabri & Surrounds Full-time | Permanent | Entry Level HealthWISE is looking for a caring and motivated Mental Health Support Coordinator to join our wellbeing team, supporting individuals in Narrabri and surrounding areas. In this entry-level role, you’ll provide compassionate, non-clinical support to people following a suicide attempt, helping them build resilience, connect with services, and work towards recovery in a safe and supported way. About the Role: Deliver community-based suicide aftercare and support Assist in developing Safety and Support Plans for clients Work closely with clinicians, GPs, and community services Strengthen social and emotional wellbeing Provide outreach services with some travel and after-hours work About You: Certificate IV or Diploma in Mental Health (or equivalent) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Passionate about supporting people with mental health challenges Ability to work independently and as part of a team Driver’s licence, Working With Children Check, National Police Check required Lived experience of mental health condition, or experience of caring for someone with a mental health condition, including suicidal ideation (desirable) Be part of a service that truly makes a difference, supporting individuals when they need it most and contributing to suicide prevention in your community.
