About the Role As a Mower and Brush cutter Team Leader, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing green spaces across our various council-controlled roadsides in Ipswich This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in their work. Hourly rates are above award and dependent on experience. Operate various mowing equipment safely and efficiently. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment. Ensure lawns and green spaces are mowed to a high standard. Assist with other grounds keeping tasks as needed. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures. Lead and direct a team of maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently. Follow schedules and prioritise tasks to ensure timely completion Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to the team to enhance their horticultural skills and safety practices.
