Your role at St John of God Burwood We are seeking applications for an Administration Officer to join our Day Rehabilitation Unit on a casual basis. You will be responsible for coordinating the clerical and reception functions of the Counselling & Therapy Centre and maintaining all administrative functions required for the patients including referral, admission, treatment and discharge. The Position Provide exceptional customer service to all internal and external customers to the Counselling and Therapy Centre. Ensure all clerical and reception functions are dealt with in an efficient manner including answering phone calls, making appointments and taking messages. Provision of pre admission information to SJGHC professionals in a timely manner prior to admission. Follow up with proposed clients for forthcoming attendances. Compile and maintain medical records/files to ensure all statutory regulations are adhered to, including confidentiality. Referral acknowledgement and referral outcome sent to VMOs. Formatting and preparing of group manual. Tracking of patient for waitlist group programs The successful applicant for this role will have demonstrated experience in providing administrative support functions to a diverse team. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, organisational skills, and the ability to manage competing demands are also required. The successful applicant will have sound computer literacy, with experience using the Microsoft Office suite, and other computer programs.
