T ogether, advancing healthcare. Description The Role An exciting opportunity to join the team at Territory Surgical Supplies as the Purchasing Specialist. As one of the Northern Territory's primary healthcare product distributor, this is a critical role that will manage and support the entire end to end purchasing process for all products. Working across teams and with external vendors, this role is busy, autonomous and no day is ever the same. Main duties and responsibilities will include; Creation, placement and management of purchase orders with suppliers. Monitor incoming shipments to ensure goods meet expected ETA’s and any delivery issues are resolved Work closely with the Operations team to resolve incoming purchase order issues such short supply, incorrect supply and damaged stock Monitor and maintain inventory levels by reviewing sales order history to understand customer buying patterns so you can set and adjust stock levels and planning parameters in the ERP system.
