About the Role Our client is seeking to appoint a passionate and community focused Customer Support Advisor to join the team of linguistically talented professionals. In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating a collaborative environment with clients, families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of consistently high standards of service, reviewing care plans, and scheduling care workers to support clients' needs. Duties will include supporting a large number of Cantonese-only speaking clients by identifying funding requirements, performing assessments and creating care plans. In addition the Customer Support Advisor is required to review and adjust plans based on feedback from clients, family members and support workers. It is essential that this position liaises with clients, support workers, allied health professionals and family members by using their proficient knowledge of the Cantonese language and culture. The role will based primarily on site in the Perth CBD office, with a number of home visits per week. To be successful you will have: Proficiency in speaking Cantonese A current and valid driver’s licence Previous experience in aged care, disability and/or working with vulnerable people Excellent rapport building abilities especially with aged care and vulnerable people Developed influencing and negotiation sills Passion for helping people from varied backgrounds Strong time management and organisational skills Ability to work flexibly and autonomously Effective written and oral communication skills Ability to speak Mandarin in addition to Cantonese would be seen as highly desirable First Aid Certificate, and a current (or ability to obtain) police check Applications: To apply for this position, please forward your resume through the “Apply” button.
