What You’ll Be Doing As our Quality and Reliability Engineer, you'll: Monitor and enhance the reliability of our existing deployed systems. Lead root cause investigations for field failures and early-life issues, collaborating with service and engineering teams. Work cross-functionally with safety, operations, service, and R&D to diagnose and resolve product and process challenges. Implement and refine quality checks, controls, and reporting within our manufacturing and operational workflows. Align areas of responsibility with our Integrated Management System requirements (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO/IEC 270001) and champion lean principles. Support data collection, analysis, and feedback loops to track product performance and reliability trends. Develop and maintain essential documentation, including SOPs, control plans, and FMEAs. Contribute to design reviews and influence engineering decisions to boost long-term reliability. Champion a safety-first and quality culture throughout the product lifecycle, continually seeking ways to improve customer satisfaction. What You’ll Bring A tertiary qualification in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or a related field), or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. 3 years in a quality, reliability, or manufacturing engineering role, preferably in a high-tech or production-focused environment. Strong analytical and root cause analysis skills (e.g., 8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys, Fault Tree Analysis). Key knowledge and experience in reliability engineering principles (MTBF, failure rates, FMEAs), quality management systems (ISO 9001 or similar), and Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement methods. Experience with product lifecycle, field failures, and reliability growth, as well as manufacturing and operational quality controls. Excellent data analysis and interpretation skills (statistical tools, reliability trends). Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, with a knack for process development and documentation. Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to influence design decisions. Familiarity with reliability software (e.g., ReliaSoft) and industry-specific knowledge is a bonus. A proactive, detail-oriented, and customer-focused approach, comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Full work rights in Australia without restrictions.
