(VMC) team as Senior Finance Officer and play a key role in supporting the financial operations that keep our business moving. Reporting to an experienced Finance Manager you will have a direct impact on the future success and growth of our business. Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end accounts receivable tasks including invoicing, debt management, verifying and issuing credit notes, process credit applications and follow up on outstanding payments. Assist with month end and year end processes, preparation of financial reports, balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations. Process weekly end-to-end payroll. Prepare and complete bank reconciliations across multiple accounts. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal controls. Provide back up support for accounts payable, including supplier invoices, stock receipts to invoice, verify OPEX and CAPEX spend, process payments, complete credit applications and manage employee reimbursements. Qualifications and experience: At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing/FMCG environment. Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or related field. Well rounded experience in performing daily and monthly processes across AP/AR and reconciliations. High level of proficiency in Xero (desirable). An ability to manage multiple, competing priorities in a deadline driven environment. Previous experience in running end to end payroll. Experience working in smaller teams. Intermediate Excel skills (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP's etc.). Strong data analytics, problem-solving and communication skills. Why choose VMC?
