Enjoy collecting things, photography, or socialising? Want to make a difference in a person's life? I am a man in my late thirties looking for someone with significant work or life experience who can bring creative thinking to a role that will be both challenging and deeply rewarding. My love of collecting things, coins, in particular, is important to me, and I want to be supported to do this safely and productively. I am interested in veganism and enjoy eating and sometimes cooking vegan food. I have a great sense of humour and am a master of the one-liner. I am inquisitive and enjoy a wide range of music, YouTube videos, often about cars, and binge-watching TV series. The right candidate will assist me approximately 16 hours per week, including a fortnightly overnight, in pursuing my interests while being a role model for developing my social connections. I am keen to find a girlfriend and develop the social skills to make this happen. Workday tasks involve supporting me in managing my home and assisting me in having positive relationships in my community. The successful applicant will be patient, have strong social and negotiation skills, and appreciate the complexity of human behaviour. They will also be organised, practical, reliable, motivating, and enthusiastic. This role involves working closely with my family, my support team leader, and the support team around me to deliver support in line with my vision for a good life. Hours The role involves a commitment to a fixed fortnightly roster. Your shifts will be on the same days and at the same times every fortnight, totalling 31.5 active hours and 9 passive hours. We work very hard to keep a stable and unchanging roster. Each of the following is a required shift for the role that we need you to fill: Wednesday 4-7 pm Thursday 4-7 pm Friday 7:15-9:15 am Friday fortnightly 7 pm-9:30 am (passive overnight) Sunday 1-6 pm Flexibility to cover shifts when other team members are sick or away is essential. We do not have a pool of workers so every team member needs to have some availability to cover shifts on top of their regular shifts. This works really well when everyone on the team has some capacity to cover for each other. We also hold regular team meetings and offer training opportunities throughout the year. Remuneration and Training Wages will be paid at the level 2.1 Casual base rate, currently $43.23 for active hours and $12.00 for passive hours while you are sleeping. Ongoing training will be provided.
