We are looking for a Planner/Scheduler to develop and continually improve accurate short-term plans aligned with our strategy and business plans. Reporting to the Senior Planner and working in a challenging and exciting environment within the Yarwun Planning Team , you will be: Creating work orders from notifications, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental and statutory requirements Detailed planning of work orders facilitating safe and efficient maintenance work execution Maintain Master Data for assets and maintenance strategies Plan work in alignment with cost forecast Develop Zero Based Budgets Support Weekly planning rituals. Provide coaching and support for Work Management process and SAP Review work in required schedule period taking into consideration (Asset criticality, statutory work, warranty, repairables, severity and safety impact) inclusive of project maintenance work. What you’ll bring A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team Experience in a planning / Scheduling role. Intermediate / Advanced use of MS office (Excel / Project). Knowledge of SAP for work order creation, maintenance management, and scheduling. A highly organised, structured & detailed approach to planning and scheduling with a strong commitment to safety. Processing bauxite from our mines in Weipa and Gove, Yarwun produces more than three million tonnes of smelter grade alumina annually. As one of the largest industries in the Gladstone region, Yarwun employs over 700 people and has a large contractor workforce. With a focus on safely improving our process every day, the team at Yarwun challenge themselves to use existing and emerging technology to support our 24 hour operation.
