This Director of Operations position, based out of Western Sydney, will see you working with a European manufacturer of Capital Equipment and reporting into the locally based CEO. With seven direct reports, the Director of Operations, ANZ, is responsible for leading, directing and managing the Logistics, Spare Parts, Service & Technical Support and Customer Service divisions, to maximize the revenue and profitability of the core products, to achieve agreed service levels and to operate at cost effective levels. In addition, you will provide leadership, direction and support to Managers and staff; and to ensure all agreed cost and service levels are reached and maintained. You will contribute to strategic intent by working with key stakeholders to develop and implement to further achieve on revenue maximisation and profitability. The incumbent is also responsible for the provision of support to the CEO on issues such as policy and procedure development, service delivery and performance as well as business growth. The successful individual will present with a strong and tenured career history managing in service manufacturing Capital Equipment, with specific experience in guiding, mentoring and managing divisions inclusive of Service, Technical Support, Logistics and Customer Service. Ideally this career experience will be matched with tertiary education (Masters, Bachelor OR Diploma) in Industrial and/or Mechanical Engineering or a related area.
