We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Active Living Team as our Health and Wellbeing Officer. The Health and Wellbeing Officer plays a crucial role in enhancing community well-being by: Supporting the development and delivery of initiatives aligned with Council’s Health and Wellbeing program, with a focus on healthy eating and food education. Collaborating with community members, local organisations, and stakeholders to understand and respond to community needs. Assisting in the design and coordination of programs that promote physical, mental, and social wellbeing, including events and workshops. Gathering feedback and helping adapt programs to ensure they remain relevant and impactful. We’re looking for someone who: Is currently studying or has completed a qualification in public health, health promotion, community nutrition, or a related field (desirable). Is passionate about making a difference and delivering positive outcomes for the community. Has experience or a strong interest in promoting community wellbeing through evidence-based approaches.
