The OGC deals with a wide variety of corporate and commercial arrangements and agreements, regulatory issues and litigation. Your Opportunity Key responsibilities include working with your colleagues to: Draft and negotiate general contracts and commercial agreements Review new products and service offerings Provide legal advice in relation to tender documents and client service offerings Liaise closely with the business and external counsel Your Experience The role we are looking to fill would suit a commercial lawyer with more than 8 years PQE experience in a leading law firm, or in-house equivalent. You will have: A current Australian practicing certificate Experience negotiating general commercial contracts Strong drafting and negotiation skills Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience building relationships with internal clients at all levels A proactive and commercial approach to problem solving Well-developed commercial acumen to overlay the legal analysis Project management, research, analysis and problem-solving skills Flexibility, adaptability and a team-orientated attitude Ability to operate independently as required and proactively manage competing priorities Why Join Us?
