Your responsibilities: Communicate the scope and purpose of releases, environment refreshes, release schedules, release status, and escalation of issues and risks, while ensuring that the quality and integrity of releases are maintained. Plan and facilitate release activities across development and testing, ensuring quality and timely deployments across all environments. Assist in managing projects and interdependencies to ensure milestone adherence, and ensure the integrity of releases, which can be measured. Maintain consistency of releases across sandbox environments, testing and external test environments. Define and manage technical change control processes for release readiness criteria, including completing all implementation readiness artefacts and ensure all changes meet readiness criteria prior to deployment Drive continuous improvement in the release process through, supporting Platform Owners to build individual release programs. Coordination, release management and packaging across the Cloud, Data & Integration Platform. Coordination of Platform releases with key business users across lines of business and their release cycles. Communication with suppliers and packaging of releases across multiple Platforms. Your experience and qualifications: Must have: Led Release Management activities and is comfortable presenting to Executives. Expertise should cover Release Management across a range of environments from legacy on-prem environments through to contemporary cloud-based workloads. Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle, continuous delivery/continuous integration (CI/CD) principals, and DevOps toolsets. Experience with software version control, branching strategy and dependency management. Experience delivering large scale technology change where both the customer and internal audience are impacted across multiple streams. Nice to have: Strong stakeholder management, collaboration and leadership qualities. Strong sense of ownership, customer service, and integrity demonstrated through clear communication and thoughtful actions. Passionate about Release Engineering. Experience in release management in a Platform environment and/or AWS environment. Experience in working with Vendor release plans, assessing impact and enabling these changes efficiently into the organisation.
