About the Role As the Digital Product Owner for ASX’s Data Ecosystem, you will own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of initiatives that reshape how ASX governs, manages, and moves data across platforms. This role is central to re-architecting our internal data landscape to deliver secure, resilient, and accessible data pipelines that support innovation, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance. What You’ll Do Define and lead the product vision and roadmap for ASX’s internal data platforms and pipelines. Partner with data engineers, architects, cyber security, and operational teams to design secure and scalable data flows. Drive the simplification and modernisation of ASX’s data controls, lineage, and governance frameworks. Ensure data is accessible, reusable, and reliable for teams across ASX, supporting innovation, insight, and compliance. Lead discovery, delivery, and continuous improvement of core data infrastructure and services. Embed feedback loops, experimentation, and measurable KPIs in product delivery. What You’ll Need 5–7 years in a product ownership or management role, with a focus on internal data platforms, data engineering, or enterprise data products. Experience designing or owning delivery of secure, resilient data pipelines and data governance frameworks. Experience with legacy data platforms and restructuring Strong understanding of data architecture, data lifecycle management, and internal platform integration. Proven ability to work across technical, security, and business domains to deliver product outcomes. Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to align diverse teams around shared goals. Familiarity with cloud platforms, modern data stacks, and regulatory compliance in data environments.
