You will be responsible for orchestrating high-severity incident response across enterprise platforms, driving continuous improvement, and shaping risk mitigation strategies that align with both regulatory requirements and business objectives. Your expertise will support executive decision-making, foster collaboration across engineering and field teams, and embed security and reliability into the organisation’s digital transformation journey. Key Responsibilities: Lead high-severity incident response and reliability efforts across enterprise platforms. Drive root cause analysis and facilitate blameless post-mortems to enable continuous improvement. Conduct field intelligence gathering and stakeholder interviews to inform strategic threat response planning. Develop and present intelligence-driven risk mitigation strategies at executive briefings using high-impact visuals. Respond to nation-state threats, collaborating closely with law enforcement and intelligence agencies. Partner with engineering and field teams to deliver large-scale resiliency programs, oversee security reviews, and ensure compliance alignment. Champion secure cloud adoption through threat modelling and proactive risk mitigation. Oversee operational risk and security governance in alignment with APRA controls. Lead threat protection and identity management engagements, including Zero Trust-aligned security workshops. Provide strategic leadership to shape enterprise-wide security and incident resilience programs. Foster a culture of continual learning, accountability, and operational excellence. Your Skills & Experience Extensive experience in Critical Incident Management within a global organisation, navigating diverse regulatory environments and cross-border coordination. Expertise in conducting root cause analysis and facilitating blameless post-mortems to drive continuous improvement. Experience gathering field intelligence and conducting stakeholder interviews to inform threat response planning. Proven experience responding to nation-state threats and working with law enforcement and intelligence agencies. Deep understanding of secure cloud adoption, threat modelling, and proactive risk mitigation aligned with Zero Trust principles. Familiarity with APRA-aligned operational risk governance and enterprise-wide security frameworks. Experience developing and executing disaster recovery plans and ensuring operational readiness for natural disasters, including business continuity and resilience testing. Experience delivering large-scale resiliency programs in collaboration with engineering and field teams. Ability to influence and embed security and reliability into digital transformation initiatives and build strategies. Proficiency with observability and monitoring tools such as Splunk, Datadog, and Sentinel. Strategic mindset with the ability to shape enterprise-wide incident resilience programs.
