YOUR NEW ROLE As a Senior Specialist Consultant you will play an instrumental role in facilitating the recovery and rehabilitation of ex-Defence Force Personnel who have experienced injury, illness, or disability. Your clinical expertise and guidance will be pivotal in supporting veteran clients regain independence, improve their quality of life, and reintegrate into the community and the workforce. Working from out Carlton office: The role will involve: Complete comprehensive assessments and develop personalised rehabilitation plans that support a whole-of-person approach to rehabilitation Use lateral thinking and forward planning skills to identify potential return to work pathways in line with likely recovery milestones Utilise problem-solving skills, clinical experience, and knowledge of injury management to perform assessments and facilitate the return to work of claimants You will work closely with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, their families, insurance companies, employers and other healthcare professionals to evaluate physical, psychological, and social factors Present case information to various stakeholders and providing credible recommendations/solutions to drive the desired goal You will provide supervision, mentorship and guidance to more junior team members who have not yet gained full DVA registration About you: Tertiary qualifications and full registration in one of the following disciplines: EP, OT, Rehab Counsellor, Psych, Physio Prior experience in Occupational rehabilitation desirable, but not essential Driver’s licence and car will be required for this role We are looking for individuals who have professional integrity, are innovative and looking to achieve results that exceeds the expectations of our clients to help them elevate their wellbeing.
