About the Role We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to support the end-to-end payroll processing for our Australian operations. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will work within a collaborative team ensuring payroll compliance, accuracy, and seamless support to our employees and management. Key Responsibilities Process end-to-end weekly payroll using iChris21 and time & attendance systems Ensure compliance with Australian payroll legislation (PAYG tax, superannuation, payroll tax) Manage payroll-related inquiries from employees and managers in a timely manner Process leave applications, termination payments, and payroll reconciliations Generate and distribute labour cost reports, audit reports , and ad hoc payroll reports Conduct audits and recommend improvements to payroll processes Support HR & Payroll administration, including employee data updates and contract processing Assist with project work to enhance payroll efficiency and compliance What You’ll Need Minimum 2 years of payroll experience in a similar role Experience using iChris21 (mandatory) and time & attendance systems Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and industry awards (hospitality or restaurant industry knowledge is beneficial) Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle confidential information Ability to manage high-volume administration in a fast-paced environment Why Join Us?
