Maas Group are currently seeking experienced Diesel and General Mechanics to join our team across various locations in Regional NSW. In your new role, you will: Continuous Improvement for Safe Work practices. Work within workshop rules and regulations at all times. Thoroughly diagnose and repair faults. Service and maintain equipment of fleet. Work to tight schedules whilst maintaining the highest standards. Assist with planning and maintaining service schedules. Ownership of major repairs, working efficiently while maintaining a clean and safe environment. Carry out tasks at the highest standard possible Inspections and assessments on vehicles as required (including the completion of the relevant documentation) Conduct all activities in a safe manner To be successful in your role, you will have: Mechanic qualification At least 2 years 'experience as a general Mechanic. Sound knowledge of drivetrain, brakes and suspension. Truck servicing ability Experience with Diagnosing and repairing faults and defects in vehicles The ability to follow direction & work autonomously Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills Physically fit for heavy work The ability to work in a fast-paced environment Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Earthmoving Equipment Highly regarded Basic auto electrical knowledge. Strong commitment to Work Health and Safety.
