Airnorth are recruiting for a Technical Services Manager to join the Continuing Airworthiness team based in our Perth office. Reporting to the Continuing Airworthiness Manager. The role focuses on providing effective technical support to ensure optimum safety, reliability and cost effectiveness of the Airnorth fleet. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, with availability after hours to respond to urgent operational matters. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Ensure all aircraft are repaired and modified in accordance with the OEM and Part 21 instructions. Assist the CAM with maintenance control of company aircraft and liaison with Part 145 MRO. Develop procedures for, and perform a review of, source technical information published by airframe and engine manufacturers. Develop procedures for and perform review and control of airworthiness directives applicable to the company aircraft and installed equipment. Develop procedures for and perform review and control of Service Bulletins as issued by the Type Certificate/Supplemental Type Certificate Holder(s) for the company aircraft and installed equipment. Implementing action plans as required. Oversee and develop fleet reliability data preparation, investigate trends and propose corrective actions. Develop procedures for and support the ARC Signatories with the collation of airworthiness review reports. Manage transition of aircraft into and out of the fleet. Liaison with the aircraft, engine and equipment manufacturers regarding continuing airworthiness matters. Liaison with airline operations staff and aircrew. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Licensed aircraft maintenance engineer with at least 10 years’ experience Minimum 2 years’ experience in technical management within an airline, Part-42 or Part- 145 environment. Possess thorough knowledge of the Australian Civil Aviation Act and Regulations, In depth working knowledge and experience of airworthiness management, aviation safety and reliability program. Strong computer literacy and experience with MS Office suite, maintenance management software (TRAX, AMOS, IAS, Envision or similar) are essential. Commercial awareness. High-level of communication and interpersonal skills, combined with courtesy and integrity. Ability to communicate technical issues at all levels. Self-motivated with an organised, adaptable and flexible approach to work. Strong administration, enthusiastic and maintain a professional appearance and manner. The ability to prioritise in an ever-changing environment, remain calm and adapt under pressure are essential for the role.
