Position : Works Assistant Start : Immediate Likely Duration : 3 months Salary : $46.79 per hour Super Location : Russell Vale Our government client is seeking a Works Assistant to work with their traffic facilities team in the Russell Vale area, assisting with the completion and upkeep of accomplishment records and quality documentation. Essential Criteria: Literacy and numeracy skills to complete work records and effectively communicate with work team. Construction Industry White Card. Valid NSW MR or HR license Ticket Forklift license Ability to understand and maintain knowledge of WHS legislation, policies and procedures, assessing and controlling risks, record management and industry requirements to minimise risk and model safe work behaviour. Ability to understand and follow environmental procedures, including identifying and reporting environmental hazards, rectifying simple hazards without direction, selecting work methods that minimise environmental risk, and applying appropriate control techniques to prevent environmental damage. Ability to understand and apply the correct procedures relating to waste materials and equipment disposal to ensure legislative, business and operational requirements are met.
