Our client based in Tamworth, NSW, is a major provider of poultry products to the national retail market. We're currently seeking a Maintenance All-Rounder with a trade qualification in a specialised field such as electrical, fitting and turning, or boilermaking. We’re open to both trade-qualified and semi-skilled candidates with strong maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Pay Rate: $36.08/hour – for someone Trade Qualified OR $28.65–$32.25/hour – for a Trades Assistant or Semi-Skilled (non-trade) additional allowances About the Role: Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and works closely with the Hatchery Manager, Plant Manager, and other site leaders Carry out general maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks on plant and hatchery machinery Ensure all work is performed safely and in line with company standards Operate within the limits of your trade qualifications – no unqualified work Maintain accurate records and uphold workplace safety standards Some weekend work and rotational on-call duties (7-day coverage) may be required Essential Skills & Experience: Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on maintenance experience Experience working in a maintenance team within a manufacturing or food processing environment Ability to work both independently and in a team Sound verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated initiative and ability to make decisions under pressure Qualifications & Requirements: Trade qualification in a relevant field (Electrician, Fitter, Boilermaker, etc.) Open to semi-skilled candidates with proven maintenance experience Valid Australian Driver’s Licence Full Australian working rights (no visa restrictions) Knowledge of MEX and/or CITEC maintenance systems is highly desirable Must not keep live birds, pigs, or chickens at your residence due to biosecurity protocols Work Hours: Availability Monday–Sunday Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating roster Apply Today!
