A prestigious independent school in Bayside Brisbane is seeking an experienced Personal Assistant to support the Deputy Head. This position requires more than just organisational ability, we’re looking for someone who brings initiative, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to excellence in every task. This position is available for an immediate start , with working hours from 8:00am to 4:00pm or 7:30am to 3:30pm until the end of Term 3 whilst they recruit for the permanent role. Your Role You'll become part of a purpose-driven school community where your support plays a key role in ensuring daily operations run efficiently and professionally. This is a role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving problems, and understands the importance of confidentiality. Key responsibilities include: Draft professional correspondence and documentation Manage the Deputy Head’s calendar and appointments Coordinate meetings, including room bookings and catering Assist with planning and delivery of school events and student camps Prepare agendas, take minutes, and compile reports as required Provide high-level administrative support to the Deputy Head Offer backup support at Senior School Reception when needed Your Skills & Experience To succeed in this role, you'll be a proactive and polished professional who thrives under pressure. You're confident managing multiple priorities, and you're known for your discretion and team-first attitude.
