This is a great opportunity to join a friendly, high-performing team providing essential wellbeing services to the defence community. What You’ll Be Doing Supervise and ensure safety in both the gym and pool areas Perform First Aid and respond to incidents when required Manage gym opening and closing procedures Assist Physical Training Instructors with equipment setup/pack-down Maintain gym and pool cleanliness and loan equipment Handle member sign-ins, ID checks, and customer enquiries Report maintenance issues and conduct basic stock management Work independently while following strict safety protocols What You’ll Bring Current First Aid and Royal Life Saving Society Pool Lifeguard certificate (required) Strong swimming ability (must demonstrate ability to reach 6m pool depth within 6 months) Great communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work without supervision Willingness to undergo Baseline Security Clearance Availability for weekday shifts with optional weekend overtime Why Join BGIS?
