The Position To provide plant operations and civil plumbing support to the Network team and other work groups, including assisting with operational works as required. Base rate of $31 per hour up to $36 per hour based on compentenacy and experience in the role. Qualifications & experience Class C (standard) Driver's Licence (compulsory to have and maintain) Construction Induction Card Confined Spaces Certificate or willing to obtain (compulsory to have and maintain) Relevant experience working in a civil construction environment Tasks & responsibilities Carry out water and sewer maintenance and construction. Clean and maintain pumping stations. To work in confined spaces as directed in accordance with level of competency. Complete relevant paperwork required for the Hydraulics section. Minor plant operations to construction and maintenance gangs including earthworks, drainage works, water and sewer works and pavement construction. Hours Based on a 38 hour week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity's RDO guidelines. These times may vary due to operational requirements and will be determined by the supervisor.
