About the Role We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the construction of a medium-rise residential development up to 5 stories in North Brisbane. This role requires you to effectively manage all aspects of site operations from foundation to completion. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of all construction activities on site; You will ensure projects are delivered safely on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards; Your role will involve managing subcontractors, coordinating trades, maintaining quality control, and ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes and safety regulations; and Whilst this is a 5-day program, some Saturdays will be required. About You The successful candidate must have recent extensive experience in multi-residential construction projects (up to 5-7 stories) within Queensland, with a thorough understanding of local building codes, regulations, and industry practices; You must demonstrate practical construction knowledge with the ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, resolve on-site technical issues, and make informed decisions about construction methodologies; You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are crucial for success; and It is essential you have a QBCC open supervisors’ licence and the right to work in Australia.
