Through our multidisciplinary Dementia Centre team, we deliver tailored, evidence-based support that improves quality of life for people living with dementia. Our work spans federal programs including DBMAS, SBRT, NBA, HACDSP, and Staying at Home. About the Role: As a Dementia Consultant, you’ll play a key role in transforming care outcomes for people living with dementia across Australia by: Conducting on-site and telehealth assessments to support behaviour changes Delivering clear, actionable recommendations and written reports Training and mentoring aged care staff and carers Contributing to research, innovation, and best practice initiatives Documenting casework within our case management framework You’ll operate with autonomy while collaborating closely with a passionate team that’s committed to person-centred care. About You: We’re looking for someone with: Proven experience supporting individuals living with dementia Strong understanding of aged care environments (residential and community), especially in regional/remote contexts Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills A compassionate, person-centred approach to care The ability to navigate complex situations and advocate for quality outcomes Current driver’s licence and safe driving record Willingness to travel across Australia as required Relevant tertiary qualifications and additional training in dementia care are highly desirable.
