We seek a committed and dedicated Engineering Manager for an immediate start. About the Role: Reporting to the National Operations Manager with a dotted line to the Chief Operating Officer, the Engineering Manager is responsible for leading project and maintenance work, while guiding and managing a small team of engineering professionals. Your key Responsibilities will include: Providing hands-on leadership, including participating in key project work and critical breakdowns, while guiding and directing others Leading upgrade and installation projects in partnership with engineering team members, operational staff, and contractors to ensure that project scope, time, cost, and deliverables are achieved Researching, suggesting, sourcing, and commissioning new plant and equipment for upgrades and new projects Partnering with the Senior Leadership team to ensure all plant and equipment operate efficiently and safely Ensuring preventative maintenance is completed as per schedule and tracked within our maintenance system Minimizing machinery downtime to support targets and KPIs Conducting regular plant assessments to identify efficiency improvements, automation opportunities, and preparing Capex submissions Managing work within budgetary requirements each month Overseeing staff and contractor management on site in line with WHSMS and budget measures Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety guidelines This position does not offer remote work options.
