Quality Officer Position Description Responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining quality standards within Measurement Plus. A suitable candidate will play a key role in ensuring that products and services meet or exceed customer expectations and comply with industry standards. The specific duties include: Developing and implementing quality control procedures, standards, and systems. Conducting inspections and audits to ensure compliance with established quality standards. Analysing data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Providing feedback to GM - Operations on the effectiveness of the company's quality control systems. Training employees on quality control and best practices. Collaborating with other departments to ensure quality is integrated throughout the organisation. Maintaining a current understanding of industry standards and regulations. Communicating with external customers and suppliers to ensure quality standards are met. Prerequisites: A qualification in a related field such as quality management, or business administration is highly regarded. Experience in a related field, such as quality control or quality assurance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in oil and gas quality standards and regulations. Knowledge of statistical process control and quality management techniques. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong leadership and time management skills. Experience and knowledge of ISO 9001 is essential. Expected Salary AU$70-80K super per annum depending on level of experience.
