Job Description: Analyzing business requirements and application capability to derive the feasibility of implementing them with risk- based approach by mapping functional requirements to test scenarios and then automating them for addition to the test automation framework. Demonstrate proficiency with several different test automation and engineering tools and frameworks on Enterprise Data Warehouse & Data Lake exhibiting through understanding of ETL and ELT. Enhance and modify existing automation frameworks and automation scripts as requested by the client for Unit Testing, System testing & System Integration Testing phases. Demonstrate proficiency with Continuous Integration pipeline using Maven, Gradle, Git, Jenkins and CD pipeline using Antifactory with Jenkins as the orchestration tool. Addition to current test automation framework to enhance the logic and scope of testing. Define and maintain the defect management lifecycle, using a collaborative defect tracking tool. Identifying technical limitations in existing system and offering solutions to overcome the system constraints. Assist with management of an automation/engineering project; help write Automation/Engineering Test Strategy’s and Test Plans. Developing proposals for the application and analyzing the test automation requirements, assessing automation tools suitability by developing Proof of Concept (POC), presenting the solution to the key stakeholders for approval. Deliver value-based outcomes to clients with successful delivery of projects on ownership of test architecture, testing, debugging, diagnosing and correcting errors. Technologies worked on include Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Elastic Search, Relational Databases(Oracle & PostGres), AWS services such as S3, EMR, SNS & RDS. Writing code in Behavior Driven Development framework in both Scala (using Scala test) & Python (using Behave) language. Tools used for documentation purpose is Confluence. Test Lifecycle management using Qtest. Agile delivery using Rally. Develop a broad range of technical support skills as required by Ampion as well as the client to diagnose the faults and bottlenecks in an application. Communication with project stakeholders, target audience, business analysts & product owners. Requirement: 8-10 years Experience in Data Engineering with strong background in ETL, ELT and Dimensional Models. Bachelor/ Masters/ Engineering Graduate Quantexa Data Engineer Certification is preferred. Experience in Financial Crime Domain with understanding of Transaction Monitoring principles. Proficient in Spark (Scala & PySpark) for both Data Pipelines preparation. Understanding of Exploratory Data Analytics of Financial Sector Datasets. Understand Automation & scheduling using Testing frameworks such as PyTest, ScalaTest and Jenkins, Airflow. Proficient in AWS Data Platforms such as EMR, S3 and EC2.
