The Role This is a Full Time Practice Manager role in Craigie and is a great opportunity to support close-knit teams and doctors who are proud of the service they provide to their patients. You will manage and support our employees and Health Care Professionals in this role. Reporting to the Regional Manager you will be responsible for dealing with all day-to-day operational requirements of running a professional Medical Centre and all aspects of employee management including, talent development, mentoring performance management and centre improvements, and managing the P & L’s. The Tasks This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the medical centre. You’ll work closely with staff and stakeholders to maintain high standards of patient care, safety, and service delivery. • Identify and resolve operational issues while driving continuous improvement • Monitor clinic safety, compliance, and adherence to SOPs and accreditation standards • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of staff • Oversee rosters, budgets, and inventory to support efficient clinic operations • Deliver exceptional customer service and foster a patient-focused culture • Facilitate team meetings, performance reviews, and staff development initiatives • Collaborate with Regional and National Managers and key internal stakeholders • Support the implementation of new systems, tools, and process improvements The Successful Candidate We’re looking for a motivated and people-focused leader who thrives in a busy environment. Your experience, professionalism, and supportive leadership style will help shape a positive workplace culture and ensure the success of the centre. • Proven Leadership and Management experience ideally in the healthcare industry • Qualification in Business Administration or Diploma of Practice Management preferred • Strong organisational and time management skills • Outstanding communication and customer service skills • A passion for people and a personable approach • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment • Proficiency in using clinical software and Microsoft Office Suite • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and needs • Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills • Knowledge of Medicare billing processes or healthcare compliance (desirable) Perks & Benefits We’re committed to creating a supportive and rewarding workplace.
