About the Role Reporting to the Senior Director – Global Inventory (US-based), you’ll take ownership of the inventory function across Australia, Singapore, Philippines, Japan and India, with four direct reports and overseeing a high-performing team of 50 across the region. You’ll partner with senior supply chain, operations, and commercial stakeholders to ensure inventory planning supports both customer outcomes and broader organisational objectives. Success in this role will require strong leadership, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to operate within a complex global matrix organisation. Key Responsibilities In this influential regional role, you will be responsible for the following: Develop and execute an APAC-wide inventory strategy that balances stock investment with service excellence. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 50 through four direct country-level reports, with a focus on performance, development, and succession. Define and implement standardised inventory KPIs aligned with global best practice. Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and implement scalable process improvements. Partner with commercial, supply chain and vendor management teams to ensure inventory supports business priorities. Support vendor onboarding, relationship management and issue resolution. Drive change initiatives and promote a culture of continuous improvement and lean thinking across the region. About You The successful applicant will ideally bring a combination of the following skills, experience, and attributes: 10 years’ experience in inventory or supply chain leadership roles, preferably within product distribution or manufacturing. Demonstrated success managing dispersed and culturally diverse teams in a regional capacity. Experience working within a global matrix structure, with strong stakeholder engagement and influence. Proven ability to lead transformation initiatives and implement best practice processes. Strong commercial and analytical acumen with excellent communication and presentation skills. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or a related discipline. Experience with Lean / Continuous Improvement methodologies will be highly regarded.
