The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced Head of Supply Chain with a strong track record of optimising the direct sourcing of goods from across the globe. Working closely with the CEO and CFO, and supported by a team of two, the role is focussed on driving down costs, whilst establishing strong and strategic relationships with key suppliers, as well as managing and leading QA and NPD. This role is based out of their Smeaton Grange office in Sydney. Day to day: Maintain and establish relationships with key suppliers globally. Maintain and continuously improve the QA Management policies and procedures to ensure the highest levels of quality from suppliers and for customers. Improve costs savings and negotiate the best deals with a network of suppliers. Maintain and improve stock availability whilst driving down excess inventory levels. Optimise the procurement process and ensure compliance across the supply chain. Build, manage and lead new product development and product lifecycle programs. About You The ideal candidate with have deep expertise in direct strategic sourcing, supply chain management, QA and NPD in wholesale or manufacturing environments. Experience in a fast paced and growing business with the ability to influence change and improvements internally and with suppliers. Up to date knowledge and experience in quality assurance, and ideally an understanding of ISO9001, ISO4001, HACCP and Sedex Compliance. Advanced IT skills including Office 365 and ERP experience. Ability to travel for 1-2 nights each fortnight. Relevant Tertiary qualifications.
