About the Role: At NAPA we have a strong framework in multi-disciplinary rehabilitation and early intervention which has been developed over many years, in our clinics across the globe. Our technology is second to none and we use a variety of diverse techniques of both traditional and non-traditional therapies including; Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Developmental Feeding services, NeuroSuit Therapy, CMI/DMI/Medek Therapy and SpiderCage therapy, all under one roof. Our programs are individually tailored to incorporate each child's specific needs. We are looking for an OT with a passion for working with children particularly with neurological disorders. NAPA is all about FUN; using play therapy, sensory integration and exercise to ensure we are helping our kids reach their goals in improving function across motor, coordination, behavioural and sensory skills. This position requires you to be a qualified AHPRA registered therapist with an interest and preferably recent experience working with children with neurological disorders. You have a 38 hour working week; Monday to Friday only (finish no later than 4.30pm) with both documentation and CPD hours built into your roster. No weekend work again! You have strong clinical experience - preferably in a pediatric setting with exposure to children with disabilities. You have current registration with AHPRA, Working with Children Check & NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain) You have good physical health and fitness, with the ability to engage with the kids - lift /move the kids, extended periods of standing, and/or sitting on the floor. You communicate confidently and effectively with clients and other medical professionals. You display a level of professional empathy towards clients and the ability to develop rapport.
