We are excited to announce an opening for full time dynamic, driven, and dedicated Store Manager at our Canterbury Melbourne Torode Xocolatl cafe. Job Description: As the Chocolate Café Store Manager, you will be responsible for working in and overseeing the daily operations of the Canterbury store. You will report directly to our Operations Manager. Key Responsibilities: Supervisory Leadership: Provide strong leadership and support to the café team fostering a positive and productive work environment Quality Assurance: Ensure all café operations meet the highest standards of quality and safety Customers: Build relationships with our customers and look for further opportunities to expand corporate and online orders – with the support of the Operations Manager Training: Assist the Operations Manager with staff training ensuring the highest standards are attained Merchandising: Assist with developing and implementing merchandising strategies to maximize sales and enhance the customer experience Stock Management: Working with Torode Xocolatl’s Operations Manager to order stock while maintaining the overall store inventory Qualifications and experience: Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably with experience and a passion to want to work in a café leading people and working with customers An understanding of food safety standards and regulations Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Passion for high-quality chocolate and beverage products Exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency essential Very good coffee making experience is highly desirable What We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package.
