Reporting directly to the Farm Manager, you'll coordinate the full-time and casual workforce, manage seasonal programs, and step in as second-in-charge when required. The business runs modern John Deere and CASE machinery across wheat, barley, canola, and legumes, with a focus on efficient, well-planned operations. Key Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate full-time and seasonal team members; Oversee and participate in seasonal programs: spraying, seeding, spreading, harvest; Manage inventory, in-paddock task recording, and R&M scheduling; Order supplies, liaise with dealerships and service providers; Assist Farm Manager with weekly planning and communication with head office; Step into key decision-making role when Farm Manager is away. About You: Experience operating a variety of modern farm machinery; Mechanically minded – able to troubleshoot and respond quickly under pressure; Capable of leading others, planning daily work, and maintaining a steady team culture; Strong communication and people skills – no yelling, no dramas; Computer literate – Agworld and GPS/GreenStar experience preferred; HR licence minimum; MC licence highly regarded; Mature outlook.
