Senior Account Manager - Chatswood, NSW Salary: $110K–$130K super (negotiable based on experience) Language Requirement: Cantonese-speaking essential Join one of the most established brokerages in the North Shore, supporting a broad mix of SME and commercial clients with tailored insurance solutions. This brokerage is seeking a capable and client-focused Senior Account Manager who can bring strong commercial lines experience - and ideally, Cantonese language skills - to help support and grow a loyal portfolio. The Opportunity This role offers full portfolio ownership, from renewals and endorsements to quoting new business and negotiating with underwriters. Working directly with business owners and decision makers, you’ll offer technical advice across a mix of industries, while being supported by an experienced team. The role requires fluency in Cantonese to effectively service a number of key clients. What You’ll Be Doing Manage a diverse book of SME and mid-market commercial clients Provide end-to-end broking services: quoting, placing, renewals and client advice Maintain strong client relationships through regular contact and proactive service Liaise with insurers and underwriters to negotiate competitive, tailored solutions Assist in identifying growth opportunities and referral prospects within the book What We’re Looking For 4 years in commercial or SME broking, with strong technical competency Tier 1 qualification in Insurance Broking (essential) Fluency in Cantonese (spoken and written) required to service client needs Confident communication and relationship-building skills Ability to manage time effectively and work both autonomously and in a team Why Join?
