Full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary and attractive benefits package A family friendly roster to suit your lifestyle – 8 days on, 6 days off Flexible employment options including FIFO, DIDO, and residential opportunities in Kambalda & Kalgoorlie Modern, well-equipped camp featuring ensuite rooms, sports courts, and fully equipped gym to keep you comfortable and active while away from home A growing company that’s supports employee’s development THE ROLE Lead a safety-first culture through inspections, incident investigations, and compliance with statutory requirements Drive cost efficiency by managing budgets, procurement, and contractor performance Improve asset reliability by implementing action plans and collaborating with planning teams Oversee planning and execution of maintenance activities, including major overhauls Maintain detailed maintenance history in Pronto our computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) Play a key role as part of the leadership team in the implementation of a positive, safe, and productive culture in the workplace Provide mentoring and leadership to your team Actively promote a high level of safety awareness, lead from the front and by example Liaise with Contractors and Stakeholders as required WHAT DO I NEED Current “C” Class Manual Western Australian driver’s licence Valid and relevant trade qualifications, certificates, and licences Minimum 10 years’ mechanical maintenance experience in an underground mining environment Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Superintendent or similar role Current Statutory Supervisor Schedule 26 (required) Experience with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as Pronto (desired) Knowledge and understanding of the Work Health and Safety Act & Regulations Intermediate computer skills & literacy, particularly across the MS Office suite A can-do, team-oriented attitude Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an emphasis on developing effective relationships and team building Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment Solid problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and be adaptable Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks The Westgold Offer: A permanent full-time position at a successful gold producer A range of benefits including: Performance based bonus Group salary continuous insurance A health and wellness allowance Health insurance discount A range of Family and Medical leave policies that includes IVF, surrogacy and adoption.
