We are looking to fill the role of a Group IT Senior Project Manager – Australian Digital Workspaces . Based in Melbourne and reporting to the Group IT Programme Manager, you will be responsible for the successful implementation of, and migration to digital workspaces for the Australian business as part of our Modern Information Programme. You will lead a collaborative cross-functional team to ensure both the technical and change aspects are successfully managed. Your key responsibilities include initiating, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and closure of the project, ensuring it is delivered within scope, on schedule, within budget, and to the expected quality standards. What will you be responsible for? Utilising your technical understanding of IT systems and experience working in a large-scale, enterprise environments as well as your strong leadership, change management and stakeholder engagement skills to lead the successful implementation of digital workspaces across our Australian businesses. Responsible all stages of the project lifecycle, from planning through to execution, ensuring timely and successful outcomes. Set clear vision and direction, foster collaboration and high team morale, and actively manage the development of project resources. Engage effectively with internal teams, external partners, and vendors to identify and manage dependencies, risks, and opportunities. Develop, monitor, and report on budgets, driving financial accountability and ensuring alignment with organisational goals. Promote a safety-first culture, adhere to all HSEQ (health, safety, environment, and quality) processes, and encourage continuous improvement. Deliver structured change management strategies for successful project adoption and measurable outcomes. You must have the flexibility to travel within Australia. How you’ll connect to the role? To be successful in this role, you’ll bring a strong foundation in project management, ideally with over 8 years in complex, large-scale environments and a PMP or similar qualification. You’ll have an impressive track record leading teams to deliver high-quality IT, SharePoint, and migration projects on time and within budget. Preferred candidates will have experience in projects where SharePoint, AvePoint or similar tools have been implemented. People leadership is central to your approach, as is your ability to communicate and collaborate across all levels, managing stakeholders, vendors, and team members with respect and integrity.
