Job role: Angular Front End Tech Developer & Lead Location: Sydney Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Front End Technical Lead/Architect to join our team and take charge of designing and architecting the front-end framework for a new digital web application. This role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in the Angular framework and a proven track record of successfully leading a team of front-end engineers. Experience in assessing digital projects and estimating front-end work is essential. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovation and a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences. Key Responsibilities: Lead the architecture, design, and development of the front-end framework for the new digital web application. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experience. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to front-end engineers, ensuring best practices and high-quality code. Drive the adoption of modern front-end technologies and frameworks, with a focus on Angular. Oversee the establishment of coding standards, tools, and platforms for efficient development and collaboration. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to architectural and design principles. Assess digital projects and provide accurate estimates for front-end work. Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to align on project goals and deliverables. Identify and resolve performance and scalability challenges. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the team and product at the forefront of innovation. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Front End Technical Lead or Architect, with a focus on Angular framework. Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Experience in leading and mentoring a team of front-end engineers. Solid understanding of responsive design principles and web accessibility standards. Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of other front-end frameworks and libraries such as React. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
