About the role Wrattonbully Vineyards is known for its incredible quality fruit which in turn creates some of our most loved Penfolds wines. Reporting to the Vineyard Operations Manager, this role oversees all facets of vineyard operations, ensuring fruit is produced to specification and business objectives are met through best practice in viticulture, commercial performance, people leadership, continuous improvement, and HSE management. This role requires a confident leader with a strong business acumen that is looking to take ownership of operations. Simply put, meeting demand in both tonnage and quality through extensive viticultural knowledge is key to your success, and ours. Your day-to-day will look like: Ensuring fruit meets end-use specifications and delivers outstanding customer value Manage capital and operating budgets, optimise asset utilisation, and lead capital projects Drive business planning and execute site strategies aligned with regional objectives Minimise production costs while maintaining fruit quality standards Integrate best viticultural practices and foster innovation across operations Align workforce structure with seasonal and business needs; support administration and maintenance functions Lead and develop the vineyard team, cultivating a performance-driven, engaged culture based on TWE Behaviours Oversee HSE compliance and continuous improvement to minimise loss and maximise profit Manage a 5-year grape supply plan in collaboration with supply chain partners Support brand development and represent the company to internal and external stakeholders Participate in vineyard operations to enhance quality, efficiency, and process improvement About you To be successful for this role, you will bring: 5 years relevant industry experience, and demonstrated ability to Manage a Large Business unit and grow super premium fruit. Experience in a leadership role in viticulture or related business. Commercial acumen.
