Job Description As Business Development - Production & Midstream, you will have overall responsibility for all sales performance, developing and implementing action plans across Australia. Your existing technical understanding of Artificial Lift Systems, with a focus on Electrical Submersible Pumps, Progressive Cavity, and Sucker Rod Pumps, will form the basis for developing critical product knowledge aligned with our sales strategy. Additional product knowledge from our Production and Midstream portfolio (Reciprocating Pumps, Centrifugal Pumps, Surface Progressive Cavity Pumps, & Production Chokes) will be required to support our sales efforts. Critical to this role is your ability to identify customer needs and align our value proposition with current and future expectations. Combining strategic and tactical insights, you will translate customer-driven requirements into profitable solutions. Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Proactively develop new sales prospects and accounts in line with the sales strategy. Develop comprehensive sales, proposal, and marketing strategies in accordance with global and regional initiatives. Execute agreed-upon sales strategy development plans. Align NOV's strategy with the current and future business strategies of existing and new customers. Contribute to the global sales team with monthly forecasts, weekly reports, market intelligence, etc. Lead the preparation and submission of technical and commercial proposals. Understand existing competitive technology and market pressures within the Artificial Lift segment, identifying areas for product development to keep NOV at the forefront of the market. Implement and execute sales strategies for additional Process & Flow technologies products (Reciprocating Pumps, Surface Progressive Cavity Pumps, Production Chokes, etc.). Understand and communicate customer needs, providing reactive and proactive support with clear, documented follow-up plans. Conduct customer visits, provide office-based support, and undertake internal travel within the territory as required.
